This is how I improved my relationship with food (Part 2 in my little food journey series - if you missed part 1 where I spoke about my past relationship with food, it’s on my page 💕) Honestly, I think this is gonna end up being a 20 part series, because I feel like this only just scratches the surface of my food journey 😅 Learning about macronutrients and the science of nutrition was really my first step to improving my relationship with food, but this too was a process and took a lot of time. Tracking macros definitely isn’t something that I’d recommend to everyone. It can be easy to get caught up in the numbers. I definitely took macro tracking to the extreme at the beginning, trying to fit in as many ‘fun foods’ as possible, before finding balance with macronutrients & micronutrients - but it’s all part of the journey. To be transparent, I no longer track macros. I haven’t done for about 7 years now, but I tracked for about 3 years before transitioning to ‘eating intuitively’. This is a whole other story in itself 😂 (let me know if you want me to do a video on this too). In the next video (part 3) I’ll talk about how I improved my relationship with my body and exercise ❤️
