A post by @go_wild246 on TikTok caption: The search began near the Bull Lake valley area. Authorities said ATVs, drones, dog teams and a boat were used to look for Ryker in the initial search. Montana Air National Guard helicopters joined in on the search on Saturday. Flathead County and Spokane Police were also part of the rescue team, providing drones as well as additional dog teams. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that poor weather conditions made the search difficult. There were also severe thunderstorms in the area on the night that Skyler went missing. Police sent a code red alert to residents on Saturday, asking that they search their properties and structures for Ryker. Deputies ultimately found Ryker just two miles from his home. He was hungry, thirsty and cold, police said. Authorities said the area where Ryker was found is inhabited by mountain lions and bears. Short spoke to Ryker inside the shed before carrying him to the waiting ambulance. “He was absolutely shocked and scared when I first made contact with him," Short told ABC News. Ryker was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be OK, officials said. Short said authorities are looking into why Ryker's parents waited two hours before reporting him as missing. "We want to make sure we know the details of how he was able to walk away, and why it took so long for us to get the call about it," Short said. He added that Child Protective Services also responded to the scene, and they and the police are looking into possible cases of negligence and endangerment within the family. #realstory #survivor #fyp

A post by @go_wild246 on TikTok caption: ⚠️TW:death⚠️ Gloria Cecilia Ramirez January 11, 1963 - February 19, 1994 was a woman from Riverside, California, who was dubbed "the Toxic Lady" or "the Toxic Woman" by the media when several hospital workers became ill after exposure to her body and blood. She had been admitted to the emergency department while suffering from late-stage cervical cancer. While treating Ramirez, several hospital workers fainted and others experienced symptoms such as shortness of breath and muscle spasms. Five workers required hospitalization, one of whom remained in an intensive care unit for two weeks. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, Ramirez died from complications related to cancer. The incident was initially considered to be a case of mass hysteria. An investigation by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory proposed that Ramirez had been self-administering dimethyl sulfoxide as a treatment for pain, which converted into dimethyl sulfate, an extremely poisonous and highly carcinogenic alkylating agent, via a series of chemical reactions in the emergency department. This theory has been endorsed by the Riverside Coroner's Office and published in the journal Forensic Science International. Two months after Ramirez died, her badly decomposed body was released for an independent autopsy and burial. The Riverside Coroner's Office hailed Livermore's DMSO conclusion as the probable cause of the hospital workers' symptoms, while her family disagreed. #realstory #fyp

A post by @go_wild246 on TikTok caption: On September 29th, 1978 in Berkeley, California, Mary Vincent (15) accepted a ride from Larry Singleton (51), a merchant seaman. However, instead of taking the teenager to her destination, Larry r*ped Mary, used a hatch3t to cut off both of her forearms, and tossed her bOdy off a 30-foot cliff near Modesto, California. While Larry left the teenager for dad, Mary pulled herself back up the cliff, eventually getting the help of a passing motorist who took her to a hospital for urgent medical care. Several months after nearly ending Mary's life, Larry was convicted of r*pe, kldnapping, attempted m*rd3r, and oral sOdOmy, and he was given the maximum sentence at the time: 14 years and four months. Incredibly, after serving just eight years behind bars, Larry was released on parOle and eventually relocated to Tampa, Florida. Larry d13d in a prisOn hospital in 2001 before he could be ex3cuted for the m*rd3r of a mother of three in 1998, a year after he was released from prisOn for the attack on Mary Vincent. #truecrime #realstory #crime #survivor
