🕊️PLEASE READ CAPTION⚠️ 🙏 Jagger sadly, lost his battle and crossed over 🌈🕊️💔 We are hoping everyone will continue to him in their thoughts and in their hearts. He fought so bravely, he was truly inspirational. For many who are NEW to this page we are re-posting the information about his passing. His cancer had not metastasized beyond his lower jaw but he was impacted by paraneoplastic effects of the cancer, mainly the development of severe anemia. This made him a poor candidate for anesthesia and held up surgical and radiation treatments. Veterinarians frown on giving transfusions to cancer patients. The inability to receive adequate transfusions and the side effects of a low blood count ultimately cost Jagger his life. Jagger was a very special boy. He moved past a life of abuse, conquered his fears and became a beloved family member. He was the constant companion his Mom and her entire world. Jagger was only 5 years old and this loss is absolutely devastating for all who knew and loved him. You’ve all been with us through Jagger’s battle with oral cancer. THANK YOU: We are so grateful to all of you for your support and love, and to all of you who donated, boosted, commented, re-posted and participated in the fundraising efforts on his behalf…you were instrumental in helping us to give him great care. He was able to live happily for nearly six months from his diagnosis, which was an amazing gift.
