8 months ago, my best friend, soul mate, t person and my son’s father, Dylan passed away tragically and unexpectedly at the age of 31. He went into cardiac arrest twice, and despite the doctors being able to bring him back both times, his brain went too long without oxygen and he was completely brain dead. After 3 days I had to the make the choice to not be selfish and hold on to false hope, and let the man of my dreams go. I have nightmares every single night of watching the man I planned on spending my entire life with slip away. I held his hand as he left this earth and went to heaven. He is forever our angel. He was the most beautiful human being this world ever seen. Selfless, intelligent beyond belief, a comedian and a half, a lover, a fighter, a man who’s heart was too big for this world. He always put his son and I first. We were his world, as he was ours. My son is in pain and struggles daily with not having his father here to watch him grow and become just like him. He cries every night for his dad and there’s absolutely nothing I can do to take that pain away from him, for as I am in the same pain. We still live in the home we shared as a family as now I am the only provider and I barely have two pennies to rub together after the basic necessities. My son begs me to move, he can’t stand to be in this house anymore as every corner he turns, is another memory of his father and a constant reminder that he’s gone forever. Please please help me.
