The frog foot ripped off EVEN with the fresh pottery mold 🙃 . Here’s a little behind the scenes: I made my silicone mother mol from a damaged vintage mold, so there are technical problems!! I also feel like the garden frog mold needs more holes to cast properly, as the front feet usually rip off and I have to re sculpt them. This is why I have to bank videos: Showing Y’all the process in real time makes it hard to keep the storyline straight!! It took roughly 20 days for the garden frog molds to dry out for the first time. If you are making plaster molds for ceramics, do not skip this step before you start casting. I screen printed my ceramics decals 👩🏼‍🎨 . I’ve never created a printing screen or used one before, and I feel like my first try wasn’t too bad!! I learned a lot about which designs are best for this printing method, as I tested out several gradients in my drawings. I tattooed another frog 🐸 . I also turned the tattoos into a sticker flash sheet!! Yes yes I know this isn’t the small frog mold. Turns out I have some troubleshooting to do before it’s ready to reveal.. So let me show you how I screen print onto my ceramics.
