In 2010 I suffered a major set back due to HRT treatment for my menopause problems. I put on 29 kgs rapidly not due to overeating but due to side effects of the medications. I was never that big even after having 2 children. The weight gain was from the 3rd week of the therapy June 2010 -60 kgs). I gained 29 kgs in that 6 months (December 2010 -89 kgs) while on that medication & program. Eventhough I'm equipped with all the knowledge and the know-how to lose weight, needed some help but didn't get any instead I was mocked as being a bad example as a Personal Trainer. I made up my mind to come back fitter, stronger and to get back my lost identity in Feb 2011. My other purpose was to help & guide those ladies with setbacks of any kind struggling with weight or self-confidence to get back on their feet too. For the last 11 years and still counting I'm here the best version of myself at 59 going on to 60 soon, as an athlete, a personal trainer and a fitness coach. All you need is that 1st step forward to do the real thing. There are no shot cuts for weightloss & quick fixes, starvation diets, slimming pills or drinks won't work too. Realistic goal, lifestyle changes, sensible eating habits, hardwork, sacrifices, determination, discipline and consistency is the key factors to achieving your goals.
