THE DUMP CAKE! So Katie made this the other day and saved me a slice to try, which was very nice of her considering how good this was! It got absolutely demolished! Recipe is by a wonderful follower who suggested it in our comments a while back. It sounded so interesting that Katie had to try it. So glad she did! Keen to try other flavours now. Tinned apple would go down a treat I reckon! Recipe: āSo it calls for any kind of pie filling! We used peach pie filling, which was super good! But you can use any you want really. Then you get the box yellow cake mix, and a stick of butter and pecans!!! You pour the pie filling into a 9x12 inch pan, then you do your layer of yellow cake mix over top, even it out, donāt mix!! Then you take your butter and you cut them into squares and you lay each square all over the cake until itās pretty much covered! And then sprinkle your pecans overtop as much as you desire, and then bake in the oven at 350F for 40-50 min!!!ā
