Bonnie’s story: Rescue isn’t limited to dogs and cats. My son Christopher took on this case when a neighbor posted in our FB group. He’s rescued and rehabbed other wildlife but this was the youngest yet. Working from home, he was the only one who could tend to them as often as necessary this young. While we did lose 2 of them, Bonnie thrived. All of the pets were used to her from day 1 & treated her like she was just another foster kitten. Diesel is very protective of her when she comes to visit out back and the neighbor dogs are out. We don’t share all our rescue stories but with the sad posts of what happened to PNut & his humans, we thought it would be nice to share a feel good squirrel story. This is all very recent as we got them in August. Bonnie came for a visit this morning too. We see her daily. 🐿️ #squirrel #petrescue #rescuestory
