How I lost 25 pounds while teaching/coaching and not restricting myself👇🏼 1. I didn’t make excuses. I didn’t let being a teacher, a coach, working a 2nd job hold me back from wanting to be confident and comfortable in my own. I know how easy it is to make excuses. It’s easier to just leave them at the door.  2. I didn’t go to extremes. I did things the right way. I didn’t cut out my favorite foods or get upset if I fell off track. I dialed in. I went from eating 3,000+ calories a day to eating 2,100-2,350 calories a days.  3. I packed my own food. High protein meals. I made that a priority. I looked the other way when the staff got pizza. We don’t need that crap.  4. I got my steps in. As a teacher this was easy. I was getting over 10,000 steps basically everyday.  5. I drank nearly a gallon or more everyday. I always had a 64oz water bottle by me.  6. I lifted weights 4-5x each week. I had these scheduled out so they became part of my weekly routine. They became part of my life. They became automatic!! No excuses on these.  7. I tracked my food. I learned so much about how food works and how much food I was actually eating. I also learned how to eat things I still enjoy while getting the results I have always wanted.  8. I tracked every workout. I had a gameplan every time I went to the gym. I tracked my weights, reps, and sets. There was no guessing ever.  I did all these things consistently and kept showing up day in and day out no matter how I felt. And to be honest, I did all these things and felt better than I ever have in my entire life.  If you’re a teacher, you can do the same. It doesn’t have to be overly complicated.
