My book, Now It All Makes Sense, is a Sunday Times Bestseller! Thank you so much to everyone who has bought it! This means a lot to me for a number of reasons: I got my ADHD diagnosis 2 years ago. I finally understood why people called me ‘too sensitive’. I had my first panic attack at school. I was 6 years old. My mind has always felt like 10 highly caffeinated squirrels. It made me very anxious. I was misdiagnosed with an anxiety disorder at 15 years old. When I was an adult, I drank alcohol to silence the squirrels. I couldn’t stop drinking and it nearly killed me on numerous occasions. I was put in the back of a police car. I changed my whole personality depending on who I was socialising with. I was triggered by criticism very easily. I was diagnosed with ADHD aged 34. Suddenly my whole life made sense. I spoke to 150 experts on my podcast. I condensed all that new understanding into this book. I wish I could give this book to the younger version of me. It makes me so happy to see how many people are reading it. I hope it serves as a constant reminder that none of us are broken, just different, and that we have all always been enough! Thank you so much Alex 💚
