A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: Botox temporarily freezes the muscle to reduce expression lines - and while that’s one approach that might work, there’s another: muscle relaxation through hands-on work. When you release tension manually in the muscle and work with fascia, you create a similar effect - softening the muscle tone, reducing pull on the skin, and restoring natural balance. Massage does more than just relax - it improves proprioception (your brain’s awareness of your face), increases blood and lymphatic flow, and stimulates your skin’s ability to repair itself. With the right pressure, rhythm, and intention, you don’t just treat the wrinkle - you treat the system behind it. And the best part? It reconnects you to your own body. You feel more, express more, and glow from within. ✨ Learn how to sculpt with your hands here

A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: What's the TRUTH about Botox? Let’s talk honestly about Botox, and why I believe women should try natural techniques before turning to neurotoxins. 1️⃣ Botox is botulinum toxin - a neurotoxin that paralyzes muscle activity. And yes, studies show that even localized injections can result in toxin spread, potentially affecting nearby or even distant tissues. It works by disrupting your neuromuscular connection - meaning the signal from your brain to your muscle is temporarily blocked. 2️⃣ The muscles of the face are interconnected. They don’t work in isolation - they move as a group. When one area is paralyzed (like the glabella), others will compensate, working harder to create expression. That’s why many women who use Botox for frown lines later develop bunny lines, or new tension elsewhere. It’s not correcting function - it’s redistributing it. 3️⃣ Botox has been linked to bone resorption. According to Wolff’s Law, bone density is maintained through mechanical stress. If muscles stop contracting around a bone - because they’ve been paralyzed - the bone gradually weakens. Less muscle tone also means less circulation. Your skin may stop receiving the nutrients and lymphatic flow it needs, because facial muscles act as pumps for blood and lymph. No movement = less flow = stagnation. 4️⃣ Botox doesn’t just affect your appearance - it can alter your emotional experience. Studies show that facial mimicry is tied to empathy and mood. When we stop expressing emotion through the face, our brain receives less feedback - breaking the loop between emotion, expression and recognition. We are the only species with this level of facial expressivity. Numbing it has consequences far deeper than skin. Hello Mental Health! 5️⃣ And at the end of the day - Botox will never fix your posture, your double chin, or the deep structural tension patterns in your fascia. It only treats dynamic wrinkles temporarily, and for many, becomes a $50,000 lifetime chase for frozen youth. Instead, I recommend: ✨ Work on your skin quality ✨ Support circulation through the major vessels of the neck and face ✨ Release tension through muscle and fascia work ✨ Restore the tone and balance that lifts naturally Your face is capable of change - through intelligent, intentional care. Learn how to work with your structure, not against it. Follow my page for natural tools that transform the way you age - from the inside out. Where to start? Try the 10-Min Full Face Massage Routine that's pinned on my Page (Posts, not Reels). Share your own Botox experiences in the comments 👇

A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: Yes - my before and afters are real. No injections. No filters. Just consistent, muscle and fascia-based work with the structure of my own face, neck and chest. And yes, your face can change too - when you stop trying to freeze it (as the Beauty Industry tells you), and start learning how to free it. When muscles are stuck in chronic contraction, they begin to change the shape of your face. You start to see static wrinkles, downward pull and loss of harmony. That’s because the muscle - when overactive - tugs continuously at its anchor point on the bone. Over time, this can even contribute to bone resorption, especially in areas like the jaw or cheeks, accelerating the aging process. No amount of filler can help that. But you can reverse that direction. When you work slowly and deeply - not forcefully - to release muscle tension and hydrate the fascia, the tissue softens. Your facial skin lifts. Your face expressions becomes more relaxed, and the “pressure” on bone and skin decreases. You restore tone, elasticity and balance. Remember: Deep doesn’t mean hard. This work helps you avoid the long-term side effects of Botox and rebuild natural lift - from the inside out. This work is a safe alternative for Botox. Follow me for tutorials that will transform your face. P.S.: be warned though, you may start receiving compliments from random strangers, and your work colleagues won't believe that it's all natural 😊

A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: Are Your Daily Habits Changing Your Face...for the WORSE? 😥 You might not realize it, but the way you sit, stand and hold your phone is shaping you and your face every single day. Slouching, dropping your head forward, crossing your legs for hours - they all seem comfortable. But over time, they create tension, restriction and asymmetry that will show up in your face. When your head drops forward too often (hello, phone posture 👋), the muscles get tighter and fascia gets adhesions. This restricts the flow of major vessels leading into the head and can interrupt the proper drainage, causing puffiness, sagging and even dull skin tone. Crossing your legs or collapsing to one side creates an imbalance that climbs - from pelvis, to ribs, to shoulder, to jaw. And the fascia connects it all. One-sided habits can literally pull your face out of alignment over time. Do you notice one cheek fuller? One eyebrow lower? These aren’t just cosmetic. They’re postural. A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: Not long ago I posted a video that asked you to do a quick test... Since that video went viral, many of you reached out saying: “Yes, I feel pain here - in the brow, in the jaw, in the chin.” That pain isn’t random. It means your facial muscles are in a state of chronic tension, and your body is telling you that it needs support and attention. We haven’t been taught any facial self care besides skin care. Think of this test as facial muscle care. When a muscle stays contracted over time, it compresses the surrounding tissue - including nerves, blood vessels and lymphatic pathways. This creates what we call nociceptive sensitivity - where even gentle touch feels sore, sharp or inflamed. ✨ If you’re feeling strong discomfort: start slow. ✨ If you feel post-session soreness: give your body rest. ✨ Sensation should feel warm, opening, releasing - not painful or jarring. Pain is not weakness. It’s feedback. It means there’s something waiting to be softened, released, or listened to. And that’s exactly where your work begins. A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: Cold therapy can be a beautiful tool to stimulate circulation, reduce puffiness, and tone the skin - but how we apply it makes all the difference. I prefer the ice water bowl method over direct ice on the skin. It’s gentler, more evenly distributed, and minimizes the risk of irritation or broken capillaries, especially for sensitive or reactive skin types. If you do use direct ice, always wrap it in a cloth and limit contact time. Your skin isn’t meant to endure harsh shocks - it responds best to controlled, mindful exposure. ✨ The ice water bowl offers a refreshing lift, supports lymphatic flow, and stimulates nerve endings without the risk of burn or freeze trauma. Use cold intentionally. Let it awaken - not stress - your system. Your skin, blood vessels and nervous system will thank you.❄️

A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: When people hear “go deep” into the face, they often think it means pressing harder... But that's not actually the case. True depth has nothing to do with force. Actually, when you apply too much pressure, your tissue behaves like a solid - resisting you, tightening up and pushing back. Not what we want. This is actually a basic principle in biomechanics called viscoelasticity: under sudden force, fascia and soft tissue behave more like a rigid material. But when you approach them with patience - using only the weight of your hand, your body, or gravity itself - it’s open and ready to change on the deeper level. Tissue responds like fluid. This becomes especially important when working with periosteal techniques - where the fascia of the muscle meets the bone. Some facial muscles connect into the skin and are easy to engage with. But others, especially those anchored deep into the bone carry far more tension on that end. That tension can even remodel or subtly distort the bone structure over time due to lack of nutrients, consistent tension and pull. Let the tissue invite you in. Let gravity do the work. The less you force, the more you access. Don’t rush, when you are deep you can’t move fast! Comment with your most pressing questions that you have about face massage 💆‍♀️

A post by @anastasiabeautyfascia on TikTok caption: Talk about hard worker... The orbicularis oculi - the circular muscle around your eye - is working almost all day. Every time you blink, squint, or try to focus on something in bright light, especially the lateral upper fibers contract. Over time, this part of the muscle can become chronically tense, creating visible tightness and compression in the outer eye area. But the eyes are more than just appearance - they are an extension of your nervous system, directly connected to how you feel, focus, and process the world. If we spend all day staring at a screen, in one spot, the muscle becomes overused in some directions and underused in others - leading to imbalance and fatigue, which the skin eventually mirrors. This is why I always recommend simple, restorative eye exercises - to release muscular tension, restore tone, and awaken the full range of your gaze. Function shapes structure. When the muscle relaxes and moves fully, the skin above becomes smoother, more supported, and better oxygenated. Are you staring at a screen like your phone or laptop a lot every day? Let me know in the comments 👇

One of the most important? The jugular vein, which passes through the temporal bone on its way out of the skull. If there’s tension around the neck, jaw, or temporal region, the flow out of the face slows down- and fluid builds under the eyes. ✨ That’s why I always include neck release, osteopathy and temple work, and gentle drainage before touching the under-eyes themselves.
