Just got pro photos back (thank you Tom Egan Photography!). For the @Kostume Kult competition at NYC’s City of Gods, I created a Stalker, 4 Clickers, and a Bloater. These costumes are a loving homage to Barrie Gower and the team at BGFX, who created the original SFX designs (inspired by the original video game characters) for @HBO ‘s The Last of Us. I watched interviews about their research process and inspiration from fungus found in nature, and built the head/neck appliances for this Stalker costume using @SKS Props HD Foam (6mm) & Sculpting Foam. Same for the Clicker masks and fungus on the body of the Bloater. Primed in Plasti-Dip & painted using Createx airbrush colors. Facial silicone prosthetics by JessFX. Body paint and prosthetic painted using @SkinIllustrator airbrush alcohol-based paints in shades White, Vile Bile and Endura paints in Vein Blue & Graphite (Special thanks to the folks at @mws for their help with products!)
