Little backstory, I started drinking 7 years ago. Started off with binge drinking on the weekends. Then 3 years ago I started drinking everyday. Most days i could limit myself to a pint a day. I didnt think i was an alcoholic because I could limit myself. Then i realized that the only time my hubby and i fight is when we drank. He quit drinking a while ago. So i have to put in the work. I think this may be a weekly update because i just started a new job where i’ll work 12 hour shifts, but im excited for the future! I know it’ll be hard, but i got this! I have to to get where i need to be in life. Looking towards the future and our dreams❣️ I love you my darling husband❣️@Badger

I love our country but so many of us are one paycheck away from living on the streets. In the 80’s you could strive not just survive on 1 person’s salary. Now two work in the home and you have to worry if you’re going to make it. Its no wonder why the suicide rate is so high in the US. We need a change, i pray for it!

Hi my name is Barbara and im an alcoholic. 6 days sober doesn’t seem like much, but its the longest ive been without a drink in 3 years. My body feels so much better, my mind is in a better place. Another 12 hour shift, wore out but my whole body feels so much better than when i was drinking.
