A post by @benpruitt_fit on TikTok caption: You don’t always quit because you’re lazy. You quit because your brain learned to link relief to reward. And the second progress starts costing more than the dopamine hit? You’re back in the loop. You start strong. You chase the high. But when effort feels unsafe… quitting starts to feel like the win. But here’s the truth: The life you want is on the other side of rewiring that loop. Not grinding harder. Not chasing faster. But learning how to stay when your old self would run. This is More Than Muscle

A post by @benpruitt_fit on TikTok caption: Most men won’t say it, but a lot of us are hurting in silence. We carry the weight, play the role, stay composed… but deep down, we’re tired. Not because we’re weak, but because we’ve been alone with it for too long. This month isn’t about throwing up a graphic and moving on. It’s about actually checking in. So I’ll go first: If no one’s asked you lately… you good, bro? Because your emotions don’t make you less of a man. And you don’t have to carry it alone anymore. #MensMentalHealthMonth #YouGoodBro #CheckInOnYourBoys

You won’t always feel strong. But faith isn’t about feelings. It’s about movement. Every time you show up in obedience you’re preparing for battles you can’t even see yet. The gym, the Word, your habits… They’re not about hype. They’re about becoming the man God called you to be. So get out of your feelings and step into faith.

A post by @benpruitt_fit on TikTok caption: I used to think as long as I kept showing up to the gym, I was good. But truthfully? I was jacked… and still felt hollow. And even though lifting gave me an outlet it wasn’t healing me. It wasn’t until I started getting still, journaling, laughing, worshipping, dancing, cultivating relationships with Godly men that things started to shift. I still train and I still love the work. But I’m not hiding behind it anymore. If the gym is the only place you feel peace it might be time to ask why.

A post by @benpruitt_fit on TikTok caption: I used to think I had to earn that kind of peace. So I trained harder, stayed busier and did everything i could to prove I was enough. But the truth is that I wasn’t disciplined, I was just punishing myself. Every workout was a way to escape the weight I carried on the inside. Shame. And shame has a way of hiding behind progress. You can build muscle, win medals, hit goals… and still feel empty. My breakthrough didn’t come from lifting more. It came when I finally told God, “I don’t want to carry this anymore.” Isaiah 61:7 “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Now I don’t train to prove anything, I train because I know I’m free. You don’t have to earn your healing. You just have to be willing to let go of what was never yours to carry. That’s where strength begins.

A post by @benpruitt_fit on TikTok caption: I used to think that if I could just look perfect, maybe nobody would notice how imperfect I felt inside. So I worked hard to build the body. I did everything I could to make sure the outside looked strong even when the inside didn’t feel like it. I thought if I looked good enough, if I performed well enough, if I kept everything together, then maybe I’d finally feel proud of myself… maybe I’d finally feel safe. But underneath all of that was shame. The kind that whispers, “You’re only worthy when you’re impressive.” The kind that convinces you to hide the parts of yourself that feel messy or weak. The truth is there’s nothing healthy about looking great but feeling worthless inside. You can have abs, trophies, attention and still go to bed feeling empty. Real health comes when who you are on the inside finally matches how you show up on the outside. What changed things for me wasn’t building a better external version of myself. It was learning to stop hiding and started loving myself wholeheartedly I let go of the need to be perfect. I let people see me, even in my imperfection. And I surrendered my burdens to God. And that’s when things felt lighter and I started to live in peace Because when you stop trying so hard to be enough, you start to realize you already are.
