Stop Striving for Approval and Start Thriving in Purpose I used to think that If I built the perfect physique, I would be happy. So I did it. ✅I was in the magazines. ✅I got the compliments ✅I won the contests But after the short lived happiness of every win, I was left feeling empty like I was worth nothing unless I was winning I thought that if I worked hard and received worldly approval, that would be enough, but I had it all wrong And I think this is a problem many men face today. We constantly see people winning at a hi level and we minimize our wins 👇🏽 We lose 15 pounds, but since we want to lose 50 we don’t even thank God for the progress we made. Then end up self sabotaging and gaining the weight right back! Or even worse, we get in AMAZING shape and build the picture perfect physique, but we can’t enjoy it because we compare it to someone else who’s further along. Colossians 3:23-24 says “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” When we train with a higher purpose, seeing our bodies as temples and our discipline as a form of honoring God it transforms the entire journey. Instead of chasing a fleeting image of perfection, we pursue excellence in a way that aligns with faith. So start training as an act of service to God and steward the health and strength he has blessed you with. And you will feel a deeper sense of Joy and fulfillment!
