As a DV survivor, my heart is absolutely broken for my son. As a mom, i have to keep trying to do whatever i can to save him from having to go back to that situation. I cannot lose my son. His dad kidnapped him and upon getting him back i found out he was being abused and treated horribly there. But I cant keep him with me if I have nowhere for him to stay.
