PSA about foxtails: Yesterday we had a scary moment when Brady started sneezing uncontrollably during our walk. Though it resolved itself, I later learned this can be a warning sign of foxtails stuck in dogs’ noses - a dangerous situation that can cause major issues if not handled properly. Thanks to those who educated us in our DMs on IG🙏. I’m much more aware now and keeping our eyes out for these harmful plants on our daily adventures. They do this every time I brush or wipe them...sometimes they’ll play like this for 15-20 minutes and I just have to wait 😅😑. The boys have always shown normal, healthy play-fighting behaviors - this helps them release energy and establish boundaries. However after being in our new place for a month, I’ve noticed some mild jealousy (like one leaving when the other gets attention). While these behaviors aren’t concerning, I’m monitoring them closely during this transition. Happy Gotcha Day to our sweet Graffiti. This was 7 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday 🥺. Poppa and I just started dating and I convinced him to get a puppy from Brady’s breeder. We drove 5 hours to her home and got to meet all the pups! (except for one) Graffiti was pre-chosen for us, and he seemed to know. He was the most calm and relaxed out of all his siblings, and turned out to be an angel of a puppy to raise. They always say it’s the second child that will test you, but in this case it was the opposite!   It wasn’t exactly the right time for Poppa to get a dog (before we moved in together he was just poppa’s dog). But now we look back and realize this was one of the best decisions we ever made ❤️. We love you Gdog! You make our lives better in every way and cannot imagine life without you.
