A prayerless Christian is a paralyzed Christian. Yes, the Holy Spirit helps by making intercession on your behalf—not because you don’t have a prayer life, but because you are weak during some seasons of your life. As we prepare to cross into a new year, let’s not carry the heavy baggage of unforgiveness with us. It only weighs us down and keeps us from experiencing the fullness of God’s love and peace. Whatever hurt, betrayal, or offense you’ve been holding onto, release it. Forgiveness is not just for the other person,it’s for you. It is the only selfish thing that God endorses! It sets your heart free and makes room for God to do something new within you and with you. “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32 “Resentment is like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies.
