For a while, I was just going through the motions. I kept showing up to work, doing what needed to be done, smiling through the appointments… but deep down, I was disconnected. I wasn’t creating from a place of inspiration . I was creating out of habit, obligation, and exhaustion. Then last week, my body literally forced me to sit down. My hands gave out on me. I had to get a cortisone shot just to reduce the pain and inflammation. But the truth is… the mental burnout started long before the physical symptoms showed up. And that’s when I realized I needed to reset. Not just physically but spiritually and emotionally too. So I went back to the basics. I refreshed my suite. I made the space feel good again for me. I rearranged things. Restocked my favorite snacks. Cleaned out the little things I was ignoring. Lit my candles. Put on some music. And most importantly, I reconnected with why I do this. As stylists, we give so much. Our energy is always moving outward. But you can’t pour from an empty cup. If you’ve been feeling off, uninspired, unmotivated… this is your reminder to pause. To pour back into yourself. And if you need help doing that, I invite you to come reset with me. Tap the link in my bio to book your recharge. Your peace matters here. 🤍
