this feels rlly surreal tbh but ig it was due to happen eventually i made an acc all the way back in 2019 but didn’t start posting until my freshman year of high school and honestly this app has been one of the best ways for my art skills to improve although i didn’t post much or that frequently, it still gave me a reason to draw fanart of what i was interested in and share it with a fan base, smth i’ve only ever seen as an outsider these past four years have been batshit insane but i’m glad i got to spend them on here, chronically online or not. this app has genuinely brought me so much entertainment and allowed me to learn about so many new things, so it is incredibly sad to see it get shut down so quickly through all the eras of tiktok, i’ve built a small but loving community of people who admire my art skills and actually find my stupid little videos funny, a community i am more than grateful for. my algorithm didn’t provide for consistent viral videos, but posting was never about popularity for me. it was about creating content and sharing it with a community with similar interest. drawing fanart for a fandom and sharing it within a community with the same hyper fixations. i never posted with the intention of wanting to go viral, i always just wanted to share my stupid art ideas with others who have the same sense of humor, and i’m insanely thankful for any interaction that i was given, viral video or not. it’s been an extremely fulfilling and fun four years and im still processing that this is really happening, but for those who still want to see my content, i’ll still be posting on my other socials tysm from the bottom of my heart for everything and i hope to see u losers soon
