These are the things that make a project way easier, and every Dad I know has something Husky in his shop because it’s what I call “ol’ reliable”. I will leave the links to everything. #THDhusky #potentialunleashed Love, Dad

The hard truth to hear is that most people mean well when they are driving. You look at your phone because you “know there are no cars” or you roll through a stop sign because “looked all directions before you got there”. This is your reminder from Dad to take your safe driving seriously. You can read all about safe driving reminders at USAA.com/drivesafe. Thank you @USAA for looking out for all of us. Love, Dad

A post by @dadadvicefrombo on TikTok caption: I built my son a garden fence using all products from @The Home Depot #HomeDepotPartner It’s important you remember that you can use this general approach but use any materials you want. You can swap these wood posts for metal, add smaller fencing on the bottom if you have critter problems and you can even build this without concrete if that’s your preference. I will leave a list of materials I used for this as well as the plans if you want to make something similar. I highly recommend using your The Home Depot resources like their in-store tool rental centers, The Home Depot app and all the many how-to guides on homedepot.com. I have confidence you can do this.  Love, Dad #WhatAreYouWorkingOn #TheHomeDepot

A post by @dadadvicefrombo on TikTok caption: You often ask how to negotiate at a car dealership so let me share a few Dad tricks #Ad 1. Shop online first (this allows you to check out all the dealerships to find the best price on the rig you want) 2. Figure out your NEEDS first, wants second. Too often people focus on the shiny parts of the car and forget to think about passenger size, towing capacity, bed size, etc. 3. Be realistic about how long you want your rig. If your family size changes, for example, you have more flexibility to start with a smaller car now and upgrade. If you’re in my position, I need a truck to work for my farm so I am prioritizing something that can be tough and last a long time. I’m grateful to partner with @Your Northwest Ford to teach a little about the truck shopping process. Go check out BUYFORDNOW.com to find the Ford vehicle for you at a dealer in your area. #NorthWestFordDealers #NorthWestFordDealerPartner #fordf350

Almost everyone I know has it on their “list” to figure out their emergency kits or finally sit down and figure out their life insurance options in case of the loss of either parent. My ask of you is that you make these things a priority this month. Speaking of “make the first step smaller”, the first step I would take in learning about life insurance is to visit USAA.com/parents Tell me: What is one lesson you would tell your younger self?
