With chefs like @chefpicky_putting a new twist on oxtail, can we really get tired of it ! @chefpicky_launched an omakase style multi course dinner, with the star being oxtail. With Trinidadian roots, it reflected on the dishes he curated. The oxtail butter on a roll was not over powering, but elevated a simple butter roll. The oxtail soul was one of my favorites, not being a huge soup fan, it was an amazing consistency and flavor. The oxtail empanada was flaky and reminded you of a more traditional oxtail flavor profile. After crudite palette cleanser, the oxtail rice was the star of the show. Reminiscent of a trini pelau it was a 10/10. Ending with a vanilla ice cream & oxtail gravy. @chefpicky_ is known for his amazing oxtail creations, so l had no doubt it would be great.
