On my wedding day,i looked in the crowd and my mother was nowhere to be found.I held my beautiful baby girl in my arms, walked out of the labor room, remembered that i needed the assistance of my mother as a first time mother, unfortunately,i couldn’t find her.At the best event of my life, the day the world decided to award and endorse my hardwork,
#cookathonbyfaila ,an event that was held for ten (10) days,i looked in the crowd each day and my mother was nowhere to be found.I couldn’t be more thankful that the greatest women of our great land and the diaspora gave me hope that it didn’t have to be by blood for me to call them "mummy".I have been confident and selfless as a young girl because i continue to humble myself to be groomed, corrected, coached and scolded by wonderful mothers who are not biological. If inheritance is by money,it’s quite unfortunate that my late mother didn’t leave me a bank account, but she left me an enviable inheritance of humbleness, good character, chastity, obedience, kindness, respect, hardwork, prayerfulness and a spirit of hustle.I hope that i made her proud enough in her grave, and i hope that i live to serve in honor of the women who have selflessly supported me.To the First Lady of Ghana,Her excellency Mrs Lordina Mahama, thank you mummy for blessing me with those powerful prayers.God bless you all🥰🌺
