A post by @garysheng on TikTok caption: Have I Lost My Mind? Ever since I announced my decision to dedicate my TikTok and life to Christ, I've received a flood of questions. But the one that stood out the most was, "Gary, have you lost your mind?" Fair question, so let's dive in. My search for purpose has been a long one, involving political movements and corporate success. I made it to Forbes 30 Under 30 and even climbed up Google's corporate ladder. But it was all cotton candy for the soul, devoid of real sustenance. People often chase accolades and titles thinking they will bring ultimate satisfaction. The first bite is always heavenly, but soon you realize you're missing something fundamental. That's how I felt until I found Christ—like I was missing a crucial piece of the puzzle. Contrary to popular belief, the Bible isn't an outdated text. It's my anchor in a world where moral ambiguity reigns, offering clear guidance when society seems directionless. It's more stable than any worldly accomplishment and provides peace that's second to none. The teachings of Christ resonate deeply with me and offer a roadmap for becoming my best self. Imagine a world where everyone behaves as if they're made in the image of God—less drama, less self-destruction. I understand that some of you have negative experiences with organized religion. But remember, God isn't the building or the pastor; He is separate from those experiences. Before making a final judgment on Christianity, consider exploring the authentic teachings of Christ, which I believe are the most transformative technology for human flourishing ever. It's curious how society today is more accepting of platforms like OnlyFans as liberating, while undermining the true freedom found in a relationship with God. We've entered an upside-down era, where righteousness is dismissed and evil celebrated. The absence of fear of God can lead to god complexes, which are incredibly dangerous, especially among the intellectual elite. I worry that without a revival of genuine faith, our world risks facing unparalleled tragedies. So, to answer the big question: Have I lost my mind? If finding enduring peace, moral clarity, and a soul-deep sense of purpose is madness, then I'm happy to be delightfully deranged. #Christ #Christianity #Jesus #Testimony #Saved

A post by @garysheng on TikTok caption: MY TESTIMONY. From Atheist to Follower of #Christ: Why I'm Transforming This TikTok Channel Don't click away just yet. You heard that right—I'm dedicating this TikTok channel to exploring my journey with Christ. Stick around to hear how a former atheist and skeptic came to this surprising decision. I was the ultimate skeptic, raised in a non-religious household and educated in a math and science academy. The idea of faith seemed outdated and even laughable. But let me tell you, my skepticism reached new heights as I dove into history books and current events—finding too many examples of religious hypocrisy and immorality. Even as an atheist, I yearned for purpose. I sought it in various causes, even accumulating a massive following on a hyperpartisan Facebook page. But it left me empty, fueling outrage rather than understanding. I also tasted worldly success, landing a job at Google and earning a Forbes 30 Under 30 spot. Yet, the void remained. Thoughts of ending my life frequently crossed my mind, a symptom of the meaning crisis plaguing our society. Then, something miraculous happened. I found myself listening to Kanye West's album, 'Jesus Is King,' and it struck a chord. I also met individuals who embodied true Christian faith, reigniting my extinguished curiosity. A miraculous healing experience sealed the deal. The teachings of Christ offered a peace and purpose that no worldly achievement or political ideology could match. I realized that the greatest risk isn't in believing in God; it's in living as if He doesn't exist. So here I am, turning this TikTok channel into a space for genuine conversations about faith, doubts, and the extraordinary journey with Christ. Whether you're skeptical or curious, let's discover something extraordinary together. Thank you for listening to my testimony; let's make life more miraculous in fellowship. God bless you. #testimony #mytestimony #christ #jesus #jesusisking #kanyewest #ye #god #christianity #religion

A post by @garysheng on TikTok caption: RFK IS EXPOSING THE “DARK PARTY”—and I’m all here for it. #rfk #rfkjr #rfk2024 - - - As I sit here reflecting on the current political landscape, I find myself breathing a sigh of relief. **RFK's entry into the 2024 Presidential Race feels like a fresh wind sweeping through a stagnant room. For me, it's less about the man himself, but rather, what he represents.** You see, both RFK and Trump, in their unique ways, embody a peculiar kind of contradiction. They have always been insiders, rubbing shoulders with the who's who, at every glitzy party, in every back room where the world's most influential congregate. You might say they've lived their lives in the thick of what I refer to as the **'Dark Party'.** The Dark Party isn't about Democrats or Republicans. It isn't tied to a specific political ideology. Instead, it's a metaphorical gathering of the world's elite, those who, whether we like it or not, control significant portions of our world. You've got world leaders, celebrities with millions of followers, and a smattering of the ultra-wealthy, all coming together. It's seductive, with its sumptuous food, fancy gatherings, and the intoxicating allure of power and influence. **But here's the thing: the benefits of coming to the Dark Party are all an illusion.** And a dangerous one at that. This party isn't about the good of the many; it's about the benefits of the few. The cost of a ticket? Your conscience, your integrity, your soul. It takes a particular kind of courage to turn your back on this. To say, "I've seen the other side, and it's not all it's cracked up to be." This is where RFK comes into the picture. Like Trump, he's been a part of this world, but unlike most, he's denounced it, publicly and unabashedly. It's not about slamming doors or burning bridges, but about saying, "Enough." He's taking a stand against the machinations of the Dark Party, the military-industrial complex, the pharmaceutical-industrial complex, and all the rest that prioritize profit over people. **Instead, RFK's vision is for a new kind of party, one that focuses on truth-seeking, on nurturing curiosity, on fostering peace and human flourishing.** A party that operates at a high frequency, not shackled by the shadowy manipulations of the old order. It's a courageous stand, and one that resonates with many people who've grown tired of the same old tune played by the Dark Party. They want authenticity, truth, and a real opportunity for change. I have to admit, there's something undeniably refreshing about this. In RFK's rejection of the Dark Party, there's a boldness, a glimmer of hope. For all of us who feel the same way, it feels like maybe, just maybe, there's a chance for something new. And I find that immensely refreshing.

A post by @garysheng on TikTok caption: could this END the deforestation crisis? 🤯 #levelupamerica #foundationaltech #tech #techtok #deforestation **This is the most sci fi-level cool concept I’ve encountered in a while.** So, most of us know that trees play an incredibly important role in our lives. Trees, through their soil, store 45% of organic carbon on land. But we also need wood products for things like buildings, because they’re far more environmentally friendly than petroleum-based plastics or carbon-heavy steel. **The problem is, we’re cutting down 15 billion more trees per year than we’re planting.** **So, imagine if we didn’t have to cut down trees to get wood products?** That’s exactly what Ashley Beckwith, an MIT PhD, is trying to do with her startup FORAY Biosciences. Ashley seeks to generate the wood and forest products we need, without cutting down a single tree. Just as lab-grown meat has proven its commercial viability, Foray is developing a platform to bioengineer an expansive range of plant-based products, that can be cultured and grown to order. Imagine *growing wood* in the shape that a piece of furniture needs, without wasting the rest of a tree. **MIND BLOWING.** **Subscribe for more breakdowns of foundational tech that could level up America.**

A post by @garysheng on TikTok caption: yes… i’m getting excited about fertilizer 😆 - - - What’s the problem with synthetic fertilizers? After all, something like half of the world’s food supply wouldn’t exist without them. Unfortunately, the production and use of synthetic fertilizer emits a lot greenhouse gas, destroys soil health, and pollutes our waterways, contributing to dead zones in the ocean. The problem is, banning synthetic fertilizers without a viable alternative is a very bad idea. No one understands this better than Sri Lankan farmers, whose crop yields were DECIMATED after the government banned their use earlier this year. So what can be done? Berkeley-based Pivot Bio has an answer. Pivot Bio produces microorganisms that are injected into the soil, convert nitrogen in the air into ammonia, and deliver the right amount at the right time, directly into the roots of the crops—in any weather throughout the growing season, without damaging soil health. Producing these microorganisms also emits 50x less greenhouse gas compared to synthetic fertilizer production. Thanks to startups like Pivot Bio, the US can reduce its reliance on foreign synthetic fertilizer imports, improve crop efficiency, and create a more resilient agricultural system. #levelupamerica #foundationaltech #LearnOnTikTok #fertilizer @Pivot Bio Originals #pivotbio
