Breaking my silence: Today I am finally mentally ok to address the viral situation that happened a month ago. As a business owner, I’ve always done my best to never show the emotional and difficult part of running a company. I fought so hard to always appear “ok” even on the days where I was breaking inside. I pretended to keep it together even when I was getting bombarded with death threats and hate comments. In the past month, I had been constantly contemplating of the idea of shutting down my brand because I felt like I wasn’t strong enough mentally to deal with this level of hate and unkindness over a LIP GLOSS! This is me choosing to be brave, choosing to be strong. I chose to share my most vulnerable side even if it comes off as unprofessional. Brand owners are constantly expected to act as emotionless robots, some people forget we are human too! My loves, please prioritize your mental health. No job, brand, or profit is worth destroying your mental sanity. I want to personally thank YouTuber @skelotim who did a follow up video explaining the situation with receipts, clearing up my mind.

This will be the final time we address this situation, as we're done letting this negativity affect our team. What started as a conversation about lip kits has now turned into something much darker. An attempt to slander our brand and a full-on hate attack against our team. These actions have not only been damaging to our team but have also put a serious strain on our mental well-being. It's important to make it clear that it is never okay to spread false narratives, especially when they are completely untrue, and continue pushing a narrative by changing your social media names to continue to target and harass us. We've always been about uplifting, empowering, and creating something special for our community. The continuous lies and hatred being thrown our way is the opposite to everything we stand for. It's heartbreaking to see how far some will go to tear others down, but this ends today. To all of you who have stood by us, sent messages of support, and continued to spread positivity during this difficult time-thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your love and support are what keep us going, and we're stronger because of it. We're grateful for each and every one of you.
