Pretty girl soup 🍜💅🏼😚 ( Bone Broth Recipe) Step by step: - buy beef knuckle bones from butcher shop (bones with a lot of cartilage like knuckles and tails work best) - make sure you have enough bones to fill at least 1/3-1/2 your crockpot - set oven to 425 - wash bones, pat dry, and place on tray - put bones in oven for about 30 minutes (til roasty brown color) - if you want to add veggies, ginger, tumeric for flavoring go ahead and prepare that. (Tbh I don’t like adding veggies because it takes up too much space in crockpot) - after bones are done roasting place the bones in a crock pot (with veggies if adding + feel free to add salt and pepper here) - add water to brim - set on low for 24 hours - after 24 hours I strain the soup into another bowl to get rid of impurities- I also add lemon to soup - tip: add water to brim again to get another batch of bone broth - once cooled a little, place broth in fridge overnight to solidify - next day remove the layer of fat from top - store bone broth in jar or reheat + freeze in soup molds
