The unfortunate reality is that the vast majority of roosters are culled as hatchlings. The ones that make it through that will more than likely either get dumped somewhere or get put down & eaten because of their crowing. There are MANY benefits to keeping a rooster, and I believe this to be a humane way of keeping them without disturbing nearby neighbors and to allow more roosters to live healthy, fulfilling lives... possibly in places where they wouldn't normally be allowed! . When applied properly, these collars do not impede their ability to crow, mate, eat, drink, dust bathe & live a normal life. They don't love it at first as they get used to it, but it's a much more kind option than the stew pot ❤️ please look up tutorials on YT for safe application of these collars.
