In 2017, it hit me that I needed to start figuring out life after college. While grinding away at Hofstra, playing golf, I came to terms with the fact that going pro wasn't in the cards for me. By some stroke of luck, I landed a job by cold-calling CEOs and Presidents of companies. But that sense of security got shattered by a layoff in 2015. At 22, I set a lofty goal: achieve financial freedom by the time I hit 30. In 2016, I took the plunge and bought my first property. With a good dose of luck, support from friends, and guidance from mentors, I dove into real estate full-time at 27. It let me align my career with my passions and spend more quality time with my family. My advice? Seek wisdom from those already treading your desired path. Valuable insights often come from unexpected places, not just your inner circle. Get ready for some bumps in the road; they're a sign that the reward waiting for you is seriously worth it. Progress isn't always a straight line, but sticking with it and staying resilient will pay off in the end. Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and evolve.
