Blurred vision, spots, floaters, flashers can all be symptoms of very high blood pressure. I always would like my patients to be seen so we can rule out preeclampsia. 6. Water broke. Can feel like a warm trickle, leaking fluid, or even a big gush! While it is a normal part of birth, there can be an increased risk for infection after it breaks. We always want to evaluate somebody who thinks this may have happened, especially if they are anticipating a C-section or are not full term. 7. Painful, regular contractions can be labor. Not every scenario means you need to be hospitalized! But I always want to know if my patient has these symptoms, especially if they are preterm, anticipating a C-section were there are other considerations #pregnancy #educational #firsttimemom
