This Spicy Soy Ginger Chicken not only smells amazing, but it’s a special treat that I like to whip up once in a while… and OMG when I share the peanut recipe I pair it with you’re eyes will 👀 in the back of your head it’s that good. 〰️ what you need 〰️ • 2lb boneless skinless chicken breast • 1/3 c liquid aminos • 2 tbsp olive oil • 1/4 c light brown sugar • 1 lime, juiced • 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger • 2 tbsp sriracha • 3 cloves garlic, minced 〰️ what you’ll do 〰️ Add all ingredients together in a bowl and mix well. If you have time, let the mixture sit in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or store in the freezer to use later! airfry 400° for 10’ • grill med heat for 15’ • bake 450° for 20’ 250 cal • 9g fat • 8g net carb • 35g protein Garnish with a fresh squirt of lime and serve with low carb noodles with peanut sauce. Finally getting around to this reveal! I wanted to create a secondary guestroom in the house, so I transformed my office space, which was previously a catch-all for random shit and not used to its full potential AT ALL, into a fully functioning guestroom while still keeping it as an everyday space for me to work. For the office space: I removed the closet system, installed a desk, added lighting, and decorated with some photo frames I’ve been meaning to find a home for. For the guest room: I bought a bed and mattress at @walmart • added some decor to the walls • found a free dresser on Facebook • bought a beautiful rug from @oldtimepottery by @gabes_stores • brought a very rough fiddle tree in for what I’m hoping to be a better home for her • and added a full length mirror! I absolutely love it! I’ve been working out of it for over a month now and feel more creative and excited to go into that room and boss it. We’ve also had guests stay in the room and they love the whole vibe and were shocked to discover the hidden office behind those doors! How I style my short hair for a low, slick back, sleek look. I love a quick and effortless way to look put together when I am on day 4 hair. For the thick hair girlies, you know what I mean. Detangle with Wet Brush – I love the Go Green Thick Hair Paddle Detangler because it’s gentle on my hair (wet or dry) and eco-friendly! Part down the middle – It’s good to have a comb with a pointed end to help section off your hair with one swipe. Style with Dae – This Cactus Fruit styling cream tames frizz, adds shine, and smooths hair… plus it smells amazing and is going to last me forever because a little goes a long way. I apply this all over top of my hair. Smooth with Goody – I love the natural edge brush design with boar bristles to help distribute shine, long tail for sectioning, and it is my go-to for smoothing down edges and cleaning up the whole slick look. Secure with Goody – If you haven’t tried a Forever Elastic yet, you are truly missing out. It’s the only elastic that retains its shape after many uses, and yet its stretchy enough to leave my hair feeling healthy but strong enough to stay in all day. Even though I have thick hair, I like the sleekness of the “thin hair” size. Accessorize with Goody – Planet Goody have beautiful options in claw clips. I like the matte finish and basic colors. How I straighten my short hair for a straight & sleek but lived in look on day 3 hair. I give my hair a good spritz of Dream Coat for heat protection. Part my hair into sections and go from the bottom pieces to the top. I love my 10x flat iron from Bio Ionic because the plates vibrate with each pass, cutting down the amount of time I spend on each section, and leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy. Once I finish heat styling, I go in with an anti-frizz serum. I love the Giovanni Frizz Be Gone that I scooped up at my local TJMAXX. It smells really good, and truly does the job of keeping my frizz down. Sometimes, I’ll go back through my hair with a Wet Brush to distribute the oil a bit better to give all my strands that shiny gloss from the serum. My bangs have a mind of their own, so I try not to fuss too much when they decide to do whatever they feel like on the given day. These Turkey Kofta Kebabs are a staple and on heavy rotation. You could switch up the proteins for variety every time you make it. 〰️ what you need 〰️ • 1 lb ground turkey • 1 small onion, minced (i definitely chopped instead 😅) • ¼ c chopped fresh parsley • 1 large egg • 2 cloves garlic, minced • ¼ tsp ground coriander • ¼ tsp ground paprika • ¼ tsp chili powder • salt to taste 〰️ what you’ll do 〰️ Using a stand mixer ( @beautifulbydrew ) blend together all ingredients. If you have time, let the mixture sit in the fridge for 30 minutes. (I didn’t have time because I’m a busy mama, okay!) Shape the kebabs by hand. I use 1/4 cup to keep these babies the same size (or at least try to) airfry 370° for 10’ • grill indirect heat for 25’ • bake 350° for 20’ 75 cal • 3g fat • 1g net carb • 9g protein Sprinkle with more parsley and serve with tzatziki, a cucumber tomato salad, or pita bread.
