A child’s esophagus is only a few millimeters thick, so you can imagine the damage this would do to their insides. Probably the strangest thing I’ve done for you guys to date 😂 Kids under the age of 6 are at the highest risk for ingesting small batteries. This is a demonstration of the safeties that have been put in place to prevent kids from swallowing them and to notify the parent that they need to look for the battery. If you cannot find the battery it’s plausible that they did ingest it and need immediate medical attention.
