In full transparency, I have not been able to connect with Olivia until recently. She has pushed every trigger since I brought her home and there has been a couple times where I have heavily considered rehoming her because my mental health couldn’t handle it. I’ve never been more anxious, discouraged, and exhausted than I was during her teenage stage and honestly I resented her througout a lot of it. These were all feelings I was having while utlizing the resources I have as a pet professional with access to trainers and a structured daycare. Feelings I was having while pushing myself to excerise and train her every day.
