How to deal with addictions? The truth is they are really hard. It clings onto you and doesn’t want to let go. But there is freedom through Christ. When it comes to battling addictions putting on the full armor of God and trusting God through the entire process is key. Making sure you are fully surrendered. That you put the right people around you, and also remove the people that need to go. That you spend time in God’s presence and with others who do the same. That you use your gifts so you can build up wins elsewhere as God uses you. What makes a strong man or a strong women? Some say muscles, confidence, or attitude. But I think a stronger man or a stronger women are the ones that can humble themselves to go back and right a wrong. We see this in the book of Philemon when Paul makes it clear that both people in the letter need to go back and right wrongs. That’s the mark of a believer. Because when we are weak then we are strong. So what is God asking you to correct? Where are you needing to go back and say sorry. Imagine the impact this would have on your marriage, your relationships, your profession… if we lead with the ability to turn around when needed and correct mistakes instead of ignoring the things God is asking us to correct. #christian #christianity
