Day 352: Judge by the conditions of those receiving the wordt experience. Utopia may be impossible, due to our greed, but we can absolutely have a world that’s just shy of it. We have to take care of each other, and we have to stop letting our greed and our leader’s greed get in the way. #journal

Day 351: If we can afford gifts, we can afford to donate to those who don’t have enough to eat or cloth or house themselves, or to ease those who are suffering and/or the groups trying to lift them up. How many GoFundMe’s are up, begging for help to get through medical and other forms of debt, or to escape terrible things in the world? People need help on the other side of the world, as well as in our own neighborhoods. The LEAST we can do is share some of what we have. #journal

Day 356: After a handful of failed projects, starts and stops, and general uncertainty, i just needed to prove to myself that i could see something through to its completion. A year of journaling that was balanced with my now one year old daughter may have been a small success but it feels good to know that i saw it all the way through.
