The 11U Bad Boys team traveled from O‘ahu to Denver, Colorado to compete against the top two Colorado football teams in their age division, one of the teams being ranked 11th in the nation. They played twice on Saturday, 9/2, and won both games. Then played again on Sunday, 9/3, to beat the Spillionaires a second time. The night before they played their first game, their coaches spoke to them and one of their coaches said, “We’re playing for all the kids in Lāhainā who no longer can.” Each player received stickers to put on the back of their helmets that says “Maui Strong” on the island of Maui with a heart on Lāhaina. Now these boys will be heading to Las Vegas in Decemeber to compete in the D1 West National Championship! We will need to fundraise again to get these boys to Las Vegas so any suppport is greatly appreciated! Mahalo nui!!! @UnCle SnUgGz @Mistah Mean @CNHA @Hawaii Community Foundation
