I can’t believe I’ve become a running girlie. Yesterday was Global Running Day, and it really made me reflect on how far I’ve come. For years, I focused mainly on lifting, rarely giving much thought to cardio. But with forty approaching in just a few years, I’ve made some conscious decisions about how I want to care for my body so it can support me for the long haul. Maybe running, boxing, or lifting isn’t your thing and that’s totally okay. But I hope this serves as a reminder that moving your body is both an investment and a gift. Whatever form of movement you choose, it’s about honoring your body and celebrating what it can do.

Only God can transform weapons into worship. “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭50‬:‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s hard to believe restoration is possible when you know you can never get back the things or people you lost, but restoration is for your soul. A renewed soul changes what you believe about God and what’s possible for what you have left.

There comes a moment when you’ve got to decide: enough is enough! To walk into the fullness of who God says you are, you might have to let go of every lie, every pattern of rejection, addiction, and low self-esteem that’s tried to hold you back. But hear me: the freedom on the other side of that fight is worth everything. You have authority through Jesus to break every chain. It’s time to activate it. If the enemy can’t keep you from knowing God, he’ll try to rob you of what you know. The same playbook he used in the garden is the one he’ll use in your house, but let this serve as a reminder that the Holy Spirit desires to fill you with the knowledge of who God is in EVERY season. I’ve been leaning into Ephesians 3:16-19 this week and praying to be filled with the fullness of God for the journey ahead. Whether you’ve just given God an unexpected yes or you’re navigating the aftermath of disappointment, I’m praying that the love God has for you would invade your stress, worry, and doubt and turn your heart towards heaven. Stay open. God’s getting ready to fill us again.
