On the same day SORA became available to everyone... Pika Labs released their new video model, which includes "ingredients". Which allows you to upload images of things you want seen in your video. And it just works. No video model has been able to do this so far. It seems Pika Labs is working on specific, fun use cases that are high in viral potential. With how competitive the AI video space is, I think this is a good strategy. I tried it... It works very well.

AI tools are becoming more expensive. And this trend is only getting started, and i'll explain why. The number of "steps" an AI takes—the operations and processes behind the scenes—is increasing More steps mean higher risk of failure. A system that has 40 steps can be destroyed if it messes up on step 8. This means AI Agent systems will have to be much more precise. This new AI model is better than ChatGPT-4 and it is 12x less expensive. Deepseek is a Chinese company and they just trained their new v3 model for $5.5M and it costed OpenAI ~ 100M to train GPT-4. And Deepseek performs better at most things. I've been using it for the past few days, and wow... its good Get ready for intelligence to become basically free, and protect open source AI models at all costs.

This is the year all cynics are left behind. I don't make the rules. And i'm not saying this as a tactic.
