Meeting Callum broke my heart & I could see the hurt in his eyes! Callum tragically lost his farther to a car accident when he was 8years old pushing him into the foster care system, Unfortunately the foster care system let him down which inevitably led him to a life on the streets. Callum explained there is very little help available from the age of 25 and the help that is given is very inconsistent. Even more so at this time of year with temperatures dropping homeless people desperately need their basic human rights a warm place to stay food in their tummy and basic hygiene. While you’re out doing your Christmas shopping this year please take a moment perhaps take them a coffee and a sandwich, and if you have time a chat - could make their day.
