Things I wish I knew when I first started my fitness journey πͺπ½: I used to think that eating less would help with weight loss but it actually left me feeling lightheaded, fatigued, and stuck in my progress at the gym. Fueling your body with enough protein, carbs, and veggies is essential for performance and recovery. Injuries were common for me in the beginning because I prioritised lifting heavy over lifting right. I wasnβt intentional with my form and often let ego take over. What Iβve learned is that results come from proper form, mind-to-muscle connection, and moving through a full range of motion, not just piling on weight. With a history of slight scoliosis and bad knees, skipping warm-ups and cool-downs led to even more setbacks. Warming up, cooling down, and focusing on recovery made a huge difference in how I feel and perform today. If youβre just starting out. take it slow. Build a strong foundation before jumping into advanced routines. Start with simple, effective workouts that focus on form and consistency.
