I was joking, saying that there is a person that hates Shoto in the official team but I don't think it is a joke anymore after the naming of this episode... Such a beautiful chapter that shows both the raw, fierce, powerful with the gentle and attentive sides of him. This is the peak of his character arc, which he started from not even knowing the reason for his existence. Started his journey by extending a hand to his mother, healing and inspiring people alongside the way when he himself mainly suffered in silence. He volunteered to share the burden both that of his friends and the family that he was not responsible for while carrying a ton of it himself. A hero that improves regularly, a hero that takes lessons from the past, a hero that prioritizes the ability to empathize and understand over fancy special moves, a hero that steps on the battlefield with a plan in mind, a hero that tries to see the good, a hero that tries his best. A hero who is the happiest when people around him are reassured, the happiest when he is with his friends that he sometimes disagrees with and yet sees that as an opportunity to understand them in depth. #SHOTO In 431 his backstory was added in a "comic book" form since his journey really resembles one and now that he is at the end of it, no more of that suffering, he is no longer that designed comic book character trapped in a misery, as a pro hero he has time for his hobbies and to discover himself and the world :) I love how his quotes throughout the manga are interconnected.
