Shadow passed earlier today. He made it to the wonderful age of 2 years 7 months. Shadow was always so playful and curious and didnt like to sit still even at his old age. It has taken me a while to be able to post this as im absolutely heartbroken. Sadly both Sammy and Chief had to be put to sleep 2 weeks ago, I’ve just received their ashes back today. I havent been posting much for a few months now as they had been battling different health issues and i’ve been going back and forth to the vets and out of hours emergency vets. It got to the point where they declined badly and the vets as well as other rat owner friends I have advised that it was kinder to let them go together. I’m gutted as they were the sweetest and most friendliest rats i’ve ever had. After Peanut and Pepper I probably wont be getting more rats as this loss has effected me a lot.
