One of my favorite hip opening poses - Pigeon Pose! I’ve been doing a lot of somatic healing these last few months to release trauma from my body and open myself up to new energy, and this pose has always been one of my FAVORITE hip openers. I’ve had many emotional as well as physical releases with this pose and it never seizes to amaze me the way our body stores and holds on to trauma until we decide to work alongside it to release it. Healing is not just on a conscious, spiritual or emotional level - but a physical one too.

Children are such beautiful mirrors. Being a parent really forces me to slow down and be even more intentional with everything I do and say.
