Mini lesson on problems to feed into discussing the events of 9/11 with kindergarten. I coupled this with the story “This Very Tree : A Story of 9/11, Resilience, and Regrowth” by Sean Rubin. We then talked about patriot’s day and completed a worksheet to honor first responders and helpers! ❤️ #neverforget#elementaryteacher#kindergartenclassroom#kindergartenlife

Something so simple yet so effective! The goal is to maintain silence and proper behavior while students are having fun selecting and being selected. Students love to be in charge of choosing who can come out of line next! (Pro tip: I make my students pick boy girl boy girl so the same people arent picked 😉) Will you try this out this school year? #elementaryteacher#teachersoftiktok#lineup#elementaryschool
He was never taught how to use a urinal so when he went to the bathroom it just went down his leg 😔 He stopped having accidents every day after he learned how to aim! 🤩 #elementaryteacher#teaching#myfacewhen

Students learned how to spell the word see by using their word masks to see different things in our classroom! Before learning the song, I taught the phonics behind double ee and that when you see two "e" letters together in a word, they usually make a long "e" sound, like in "see" or "tree." They then learned the song to the tune of Come on Eileen! #elementaryteacher#kindergartenclassroom#kindergartenlife#teacher#teaching#writing#kindergarten#kindergartenteacher
