When I was a child, I was told by doctors and my parents that I’d never be able to read or write. I didn’t start talking or walking until I was 3 years old. I had to be in special education classes separate from all the “normal” kids because of my learning disabilities and severe ADHD. I’m here to tell you, to promise you that every difficulty in your life is a part of your gift to the world. I am so incredibly honored to be a part of the @natgeo team and to be able to share my story in a way that’s never been told before! Thank you to all of you, to @natgeobooks and to the entire @natgeo team for this incredibly beautiful opportunity. I love you all and this is just the beginning, we are still just getting started! I can’t believe it’s already been a year since Lillie crossed over. She’s still with me always. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about her or feel her spirit ❤️

#ad What do I say about Bo? My wild child turned gentle pack leader. Bo has been with me from the beginning and he’s just getting better and better with age. A few years ago, we switched to @Hill’s Pet Nutrition Science Diet 7+ recipe to better support him at this stage of life. And we go to @Petco for new, softer chew toys, supportive beds and cozy jackets. He may not be the troublemaker anymore, but I love him more than ever.
