Thirty years ago today we released Zombie as the first single from our album No Need to Argue. We had to fight hard at the time for this release as our record company thought it was too controversial. But we believed in this song and knew the emotional impact it had on our fans, because we had been playing it live for months before we ever recorded it. It’s hard to believe that Zombie now has had billions of streams and is still so popular around the world. We are so proud of the success of this song and Dolores would be too.
