After the 7 marathons my legs were not in great shape, i was worried I had a serious injury that might need surgery, which would seriously hamper my future runs, but I was told it looks good and with a proper recovery routine I’ll be grand. BUTTTTTTTT the real good news is my physio has basically told me the bread and butter of that recovery treatment is I need to get my legs strength back again, lots of deadlifts and sumo squats and I have missed strength training SOOOOOOOOOOO much. Being big isn’t helpful during a marathon for obvious reasons, so I’ve been avoiding it, but it’s time for a change baby and I’m happy as a hamster in a spinning wheel So for 2025 I’m still gonna be running marathons don’t worry about that, but my focus with be far more about breaking my own personal best for my strength records. My previous best was Squat 160, BP 112.5, DeadLift 200 so a total of 472.5KG, which got me just over the 1000lbs club. 1039lbs to be precise. As it’s gonna be 2025, my goal is to hit 525kg total. I do love matching numbers and whatnot. 525 in 2025. As you can imagine I’ll be wolfing down all the yummy protein goodies @Grenade sell. Muscles don’t grow unless you’ve got enough protein in your diet, but these guys also donate to our charity world record. On the subject of sponcers I’ll be out my back garden live streaming my workouts a lot more this year, and all the kit you see me use is provided by @Fitshop If you’re planning ahead to the new year, and fitness is on the
