This is why we put so much of an emphasis on doing good games and food engagement with your dog. It’s so important to gradually add more and more distractions in your home and yard, and then eventually start doing sessions in public spaces. ⚠️Do not have your dog off-leash in public unless they have a foolproof recall. Make sure you know the rules, and keep them on-leash if required by the park or area. #DogTraining #malinois

If you call your dog only when it’s time to go inside, or leave the park, or go to their crate, they’re not going to want to come when you call. Instead, make it a party every time you call your dog. Give them treats, do some food games and/or play with a toy. When they’re playing, periodically call them to you, reward them and then RELEASE them back to go play again. This small change will make the world of difference with your dogs recall and your relationship with them! #dotraining #dogrecall

If I could only give one tip in this situation I would: Put your dog on the bed (or crate if they aren’t trained to stay on the bed,) and have your guests ignore your dog until they are calm. #DogTraining

Does your dog do this? Create a possitive association. Every time you bring the clippers out bring the treats out! If they wont come to you even with treats star from a distance! #dogtrainingtips
