Replying to @The Hammer In 1921, the U.S. saw deep racial violence and systemic oppression, particularly against Indigenous and Black communities. The Osage Reign of Terror (1921β1926) targeted wealthy Osage people for their oil rights through murder and exploitation under a racist guardianship system. At the same time, the Tulsa Race Massacre devastated Black Wall Street, and melanated Native Americans faced erasure through tribal roll exclusions and systemic racism. The Immigration Quota Act of 1921 further cemented white supremacy by restricting non-European immigration, reinforcing racial hierarchies that disenfranchised Indigenous, Black, and immigrant communities.
