Sharing this feels right for me. I know there’s often this idea that you have to wait until 12 weeks to share a pregnancy, and I completely understand why so many women choose to – it’s such a personal decision. But for me, I’ve always felt like if something unexpected happens, I’d want to feel supported, not isolated. The first trimester can be tough – it was for me last time and this time too. There’s so much happening physically and emotionally, and sometimes it feels like we’re supposed to go through it quietly. I just don’t think it HAS to be that way. I really want to talk about the things I’m feeling right now – the anxiety, the exhaustion, and all the little things that come with this stage. Pregnancy is real and valid at every point, even in the earliest weeks. I’m all for women sharing when they feel ready – whether that’s at 4 weeks, 14 weeks, or not at all.
