🚨READ ME👇🏻 I picked that number because as of today, that’s how long I’ve been on my journey. 🗓️ 2,555 days (7 years today) ➡️ And it’s worth noting that I didn’t see hardly any results for the first 7 months. That was with me tracking my food religiously and going to the gym daily. ➡️ When I say hardly any results, I mean the scale didn’t move and I didn’t notice much change in my pictures (as you can see from my 90 day pictures). ✅ The results I did get? 🌳 My root system was growing. I was creating the habit, and building the foundation that got me where I am today. So just remember: All those fitness accounts you follow on here… they also have been at it for YEARS. ❤️ You’re not being fair to yourself when you compare your first 90 days (or even first 7 months) to someone else who has been at it for years. 👊🏻 It’s YOU vs YOU and you’re on your own journey with your own timeline. Keep grinding, stay in your lane and you’ll get there. 💪🏻 ✨ If you want a solid plan to follow with diet guidance (to get a head start and skip the learning curve I went through)… go to absbyamyfitnessapp.com to get started! . . . . . . . #fitnessjourney #fitnessgoals #weightlossjourney #patience #consistency #comparisonisthethiefofjoy #stayinyourlane #youvsyou #liftheavy #absbyamy

Stay tuned! …and in the mean time - JOIN MY APP! 🙌🏻 Let me do the planning for you with my workouts and nutrition help/diet guidance. 💪🏻 🚨Absbyamyfitessapp.com has all the info! . . . . . . #weightlifting #GymLife #fitmom #gymhumor #diethumor #newyearsresolution #goals #liftheavy #absbyamy
February 11, 2021 is a day I’ll never forget. My Dad, who is my biggest supporter and cheerleader, fell during one of my classes in a friendly competition with me. He hit his head so severely it caused a traumatic brain injury. I don’t think I’ve ever been more terrified in my entire life. The way he fell and his body seized up and stiffened, will forever burned into my mind. I thought he died. It was so traumatic, that it took me this long to be able to share the video of the accident. 🚨I do so (with my Dad’s consent) to help spread awareness about gym safety. Injuries like this (including my finger injury) can be PREVENTED by merely being AWARE! ✅ Be aware of your surroundings, your equipment and the people around you. Clip your squats. Don’t throw your weights down when there are people in close proximity, or let your stability ball, dumbbells, foam roller etc. roll away from you. ⚠️DON’T LET YOUR NEGLIGENCE RESULT IN AN INJURY FOR SOMEONE ELSE⚠️ While my dad is a fighter and has more grit in his little pinky than most people have in their whole being…this injury rocked his world and affected his vision, hearing, sense of taste and smell, personality & motor skills among many other things. It’s taken him years to recover and certain things are still a challenge- but he doesn’t let it stop him! 💪🏻 👊🏻 While accidents happen, a little awareness can go a long way. ❤️ . . . . #gymsafety #accident #safety #headinjury #braininjury #weightlifting #liftheavy #absbyamy
