It’s hard to believe it’s almost been a year since my D&C and the loss of our baby boy. Jason and I have been trying to conceive for a few months after that heartache, and with the added loss of my dad and his dog, 2024 felt like a year filled with shadows. I didn’t think joy was possible again. But then, I took a pregnancy test—and saw “PREGNANT.” In that moment, it felt like the first rays of sunlight after a long, dark storm. We are beyond blessed and excited to welcome our rainbow girl into the world soon.
